Benefit Coverages contains the current employee coverages as well as the history of coverage that bswift has on file.

The top of the page presents options for displaying benefits as of a specific date, displaying pending coverage or just active coverage, and cost. This page will default to showing coverage as of today.
After you have chosen how you would like to view the data, the page will automatically refresh with the selected choices.

The page will display coverages based on the choices you’ve entered.

Clicking on Additional Information will give some additional details about the election, the reason it was saved, who saved it, and when.

Cost Effective and Coverage Effective dates
Cost Effective Date is sometimes also referred to as “Cost/Tier Effective Date.” This is the date the any cost or tier changes have occurred (tier changes or cost changes for any other reason).
Coverage Effective Date reflects the original start of coverage in the plan. This is the date the employee or dependent originally began coverage or the date the employee changed plans (e.g. enrolled through New Hire enrollment or changed HDHP to PPO).
Clicking on the plan name for any plan will bring you to the history of elections for that plan.
